Master's degree in Philosophical Anthropology by Universidad de Piura, and Master's degree in Education in Higher Education by Andrés Bello University. Licentiate in Communication Sciences.
She took journalism courses in Colombia, United States, United Kingdom and Japan, and she has a graduate degree in Legal Institutions and Market Economics by UPC. A journalist with 30 years of professional life, she was editor of the Politics section of the El Comercio newspaper, as well as main editor of its Central Newsroom. She was a National Officer of the United Nations Information Center in Peru.
