CARLOS M. ADRIANZÉN CABRERA
Dean of the UPC School of Economics
Economist with graduate studies in Economics and Business at the universities of Boston (MA in Economics), Quebec (MBA), Harvard (HIID, MPM) and Pittsburgh (Katz, MP).
Professionally, he has worked as a professor and academic authority in different universities of the country (PUCP, USIL, and USMP) and abroad (UQAM), as well as as a local and international consultant for economic and financial issues. He has served as head of the Studies and Statistical Office at the SBS (Superintendency of Banks and Insurance Companies), as Vice-President of INDECOPI’s Commission of Free Competition and as principal advisor for different ministers of Economics and Finance, and Agriculture, among other positions.
Additionally, he is a Senior Executive Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and has received the Hipólito Unanue Award to the Economic and Financial Merit awarded by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
He has published more than a thousand articles in different academic and journalistic publications; currently, he works as an economic columnist for El Comercio newspaper and AmericaEconomía magazine.
