“UPC professors are really good and demanding, they want their students to develop their own personal style and for them to learn about every single aspect of design, because we do not only need to be creative and execute the pattern and dressmaking processes well, but it is also necessary for us to have a business and management vision. I won the Academic Excellence Scholarship to study at Centro Universitário Ritter dos Reis (UniRitter) at Porto Alegre, in Brazil and I realized that our educational level at UPC is really high.”

“In July, I won a scholarship to take a three-week textile course with a professor from India at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design (New Mexico). I learned different old techniques that I can now apply to the hand-made work, which I really like. Contrary to what most people think, this is a pretty challenging program that demands a great deal of work, research and dedication, so we need to take full advantage of the complete training offered by the UPC courses.
