MARIANA MONTALVO
Communicator by Universidad de Lima. Master’s degree in Higher Education. Licentiate in Education. She has been a faculty member at UPC for 21 years.
She was a grant holder of the Atelier de Restauration et de Conservation des Photographies de la Ville de Paris (ACRP) in France —institution run by Anne Cartier-Bresson— in the specialization of 19th Century Photographic Heritage Conservation. She has more than 20 years of experience in advertising photography with specialization in Architecture and products.
Her work is part of Lima The Book, edited by Mario Testino. Additionally, she has published in international and national magazines, and has participated in various photographic exhibitions in the United States and in Peru. She is a member of the team in charge of rescuing the Courret Hermanos studio's photographic archive. She was second place in the photography contest on protected natural areas by Sernanp (National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State).
