UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
You can access exchange programs such as the Video Game Localization and Dubbing specialized program
offered exclusively to UPC by Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM). Similarly, Nazareth College
located in Rochester, New York offers an English Language Immersion Program that includes reading,
witting and conversation workshops. This is one of the several study trips that are offered.
DOUBLE DEGREE WITH UNIVERSIDAD EUROPEA DE MADRID (UEM)
The agreement establishes that bachelors in Professional Translation and Interpreting (UPC) can
apply for the Translation and Intercultural Communication (UEM) degree upon completion of their
studies and after obtaining 24 undergraduate credits. In addition, the agreement proposes that
students pursue one of the following two Master's degree programs for the double degree to be
effective:
- Dubbing, Translation and Subtitling
- Multidisciplinary Conference Interpreting
CENTRAD
Students are able to carry out pre-professional internships at CenTrad, UPC's Internal Translation
Services Office.
RESEARCH
Effective research curricular line focused on the production of papers publishable by international
refereed journals.
SITE
The Professional Translation and Interpreting program is delivered in the Monterrico Site.
