UPC’s Dentistry program offers a modern faculty dental clinic at the service of the population. In this space, students will be able to provide a personalized assistance, while being supervised by experienced professors.
This clinic has the latest equipment and a modern infrastructure. Also, it offers fillings, extractions, dental hygiene, root canals, brackets, gum treatment, X-rays, among other services.
Through the clinic, you will be trained under the modern dentistry principles, based on the use of the technology applied in this area. You will use the latest dental materials, with an emphasis on quality service, and oriented towards improving the patients' quality of life.
Additionally, the clinic has a modern software that has been specially designed for UPC, which includes the building’s management, the complete medical records in digital format and the evaluation of each student.
UPC University Health Center is located at Av. Alameda San Marcos Block 2, Chorrillos.
UPC’S Dentistry program has the best equipped dentistry simulation laboratory in the country. The simulation advantages are many: in a controlled environment like this, you will be trained in the clinical procedures you will later perform on real patients. This methodology allows students to learn from experience and improve techniques, until they reach the objective with no harm to the patient.
The technology implemented in this laboratory enables you to receive information in a timely and personalized manner by a specialist, all of which ensures an excellent clinical practice on real patients. It should be noted that simulation does not substitute for clinical practice on real patients; it is rather a complement.
