LEONARDO TORRES VILAR

Actor, instructor and theater and TV director. Son of the renowned actors Lola Vilar and Leonardo Torres Descalzi, and seventh generation in a family of actors dedicated to the Performing Arts. Graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and member of the Academy Company in 1997 and 1998. For two consecutive years in New York, he received the ACE Award as Best Theater Actor for his leading role in “La pulga en la oreja” and for the world premiere of “The One Eyed Man is King,” a theater play by Carlos Fuentes. 
He is one of the most appreciated acting instructors and one of the most frequent actors on the stage in Lima, with more than sixty productions. In 2015, he celebrated his first 25 years as a theater actor.
