Getting the global interest to focus on Peru entails a great responsibility to sustain this moment: to consolidate our cuisine and guarantee a comprehensive and challenging education for future generations of professionals.
To achieve this, UPC offers the Gastronomy and Culinary Management program, with the mission to educate upstanding and innovative professionals, who will lead a sustainable culinary and gastronomic development that allows planning and managing gastronomic projects that are profitable; and the objective to educate the best chefs and entrepreneurs, offering them the necessary tools to represent our culinary identity and create their own style with solid arguments. Based on a distinguished curriculum, a personalized education and the participation of local and international experts, this program has a multidisciplinary approach, including different study areas related to the culinary art. This involves different fields: from research, sciences, and the analysis of our culture and history; to the applications and techniques that set international trends.
UPC considers it is vital to know each element that makes up the culinary process: producers, chefs, managers and businessmen. We strongly believe that just by checking each chain link in detail, we will reach a cuisine with strong foundations.

INCOMING STUDENT PROFILE
As incoming students of the Gastronomy and Culinary Management program, you must develop an interest in cooking and be willing to try new flavors. You must be creative, imaginative, and dynamic, show concern for the environment and have a service-oriented and highly entrepreneurial attitude.
GRADUATE STUDENT PROFILE
As alumni of the Gastronomy and Culinary Management program, you will be creative cook experts, with a multidisciplinary approach, comprehensive knowledge of the field and management skills. You will be able to undertake, manage or advice commercial or collective gastronomy businesses, showing an innovative spirit.
